Beginner Quilting

Students will be making a 4-patch quilt as they learn quilting basics. You should plan to make a lap size quilt so that you have time to complete the quilt.

Embroidery Block of the Month

The Little Things
The embroidery applique designs for The Little Things are based on Scandinavian Folk designs. The finished quilt is approx. 58 1/2" x 58 1/2". Each of the designs has been divided up so that they can be stitched out using a hoop with an embroidery field that is at least 145mm x 255mm (5.7" x 10.0"). Alternatively, you can complete many of the designs in fewer hoopings using a hoop with an embroidery field approx 200mm x 300mm (7.8" x 11.8").

Embroidery Club

Make an adorable in the hoop Cup Sleeve. The design is for you to add names and monograms to. They are made completely in the hoop with the exception of you whip stitching them closed and adding buttons.

Serger Club

Get a new serger for Christmas or need a refresher on how to use your serger? Join us for a multi part Serger Fundamentals class. Class will be split to accommodate both 4-thread and 8-thread machines.
Pre-requisite:
• You must be familiar with the general threading and operation of your serger. If you are not, please schedule an individual session prior to class so that you can be ready.
• Serger in good working order. We will not have time to work on machines during class so please check your machine prior to class and bring it in for repair or service prior to class, if needed.
Kit fee: $15 if you need a printed workbook and materials to be used during class.

Foot of the Month - Laptop Sleeve Part 3

Join us for a multi-month project that will allow you to practice your serger skills and learn to use your serger feet. The first month we will cut out our project and quilt the outer layer.
