This quilt that will take longer to bind then to sew together - awesome! This simple small throw size is a perfect charity, baby, donation item or thoughtful quick gift needed in a pinch. Choose to make the reversable side different or coordinating color. And best yet, use up those leftover 6 ½" batting strips that are to small to sew together.
BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY
You will need a 4-thread overlock stitch on your serger.

This Beach/Bath Robe is a total Serger Project. In it you will learn to serge outside and inside corners and construct the garment in 4 thread overlock stitch. If you have a Coverstitch then it can be used on the hem, otherwise you will have to hand or machine sew. There are also instructions on how to make braid for the belt loops. This is a great project for someone learning to use their Serger. Great Xmas gift.
The Large size makes a mans robe and the medium a ladies. If you are very small you can always trim fabric from the side seams before attaching your sleeves.

We will be using the area of the shirt to try out different sewing techniques, decorative stitches and embellishments.

Kids Sewing

Kids sewing meets the second Saturday of the month from 9 am -12 pm except in June, July, August and October at a cost of $35 per session. Children must be at least 8 years of age to participate. Call the store for reservations 318-688-2402

All types of machines are welcome; however, the user should be proficient in threading and operation of the machine and the machine must be in good working order. Kit charges, if applicable. Explore new and different ways to use your Cameo Silhouette machine. Sessions cover software, design creation, cutting and project ideas. Students have fun making their creative ideas come true with the assistance of experienced instructors. Reservations are appreciated so that we can plan.
