BOM Christmas Magic

BOM My Happy Place

Join in on the fun of making this beautiful quilt while practicing your applique. For the next 10 months you will make the blocks, learn applique basics and borders. My Happy Place is an easy to appliqué quilt perfect for a sewist's favorite space. The easy to follow full-color pattern includes full size layout diagrams, reversed templates, plus the download code for the SVGs with a fabric prep guide to cut the appliqués with your favorite electronic cutting machine. T-Shirt Quilt - Part 2

Showcase special memories in a personalized quilt! Denise gets you started, sharing stabilizing, sizing and cutting tips to help you turn a stack of T-shirts into fabric that's ready to be stitched. Next, explore fun layouts, from units of different sizes to eye-catching staggered blocks. Add color, texture and cohesion to your design with plain, pieced and slat filler strips. Then, construct your quilt. Finally, add sweet finishing touches with a range of border and backing options.

Fee $30 (two 2 hour sessions) plus longarm rental at $15 per hour

Memory Quilt

Make a memory quilt design of your choice using printed fabric. This design requires 12 photos measuring 5" x 7."
The film is constructed from strips of solid black fabric stitched to strips of black and white stripe fabric.

Tropical Trio Table Runner

Eileen Roche's latest book, the Flower Box Quilt, is packed with embroidery techniques that will expand your skill set. This class will focus on teaching how to LAYER Vinyl to make decals to put on cups, glass, etc. as well as LAYERIG Heat Transfer Vinyl. Learn:

BOM Embroidery

Join in on the fun of making this Inked-Makers Quilt. Each of the designs has been divided up so that they can be stitched out using a hoop with an embroidery field that is at least 145mm x 255mm (5.7" x 10.0"). Alternatively, you can complete the designs in fewer hoopings using a hoop with an embroidery field approx 200mm x 300mm (7.8" x 11.8"). Hands on instruction combined with clear diagrams walk you through each step of piecing this quilted masterpiece.

All types of machines are welcome; however, the user should be proficient in threading and operation of the machine and the machine must be in good working order. Kit charges, if applicable.
