Beginner Quilting

Students will be making a 4-patch quilt as they learn quilting basics. You should plan to make a lap size quilt so that you have time to complete the quilt.

BOM Embroidery

Join in on the fun of making this Inked-Makers Quilt. Each of the designs has been divided up so that they can be stitched out using a hoop with an embroidery field that is at least 145mm x 255mm (5.7" x 10.0"). Alternatively, you can complete the designs in fewer hoopings using a hoop with an embroidery field approx 200mm x 300mm (7.8" x 11.8"). Hands on instruction combined with clear diagrams walk you through each step of piecing this quilted masterpiece.

Embroidery Club - Continuous Machine Embroidery

Creating a border necessitates very precise placement of the designs, and will require more than one hooping if the border is longer than what will fit in your largest hoop. This class will walk
you through the steps to successfully multi-hoop your embroidery designs. This technique can be used for quilting as well.

Bring a towel, placemat, table runner or quilt sandwich to practice your new technique on.

Adult Sewing Camp

Sewing on the go is the theme for our Adult version of our Kids Camp. Make a quilted lanyard, candy bag key fobs, case covers for your scissors and cutters, a sewing machine pin cushion and a carry all bag for all your sewing needs.

Join in from 10:00 - 2:00 each day for the fun. Bring a sack lunch/snack.

Serger Club - Ruffled Towel

Learn to ruffle with your serger and unlock a whole new world of sewing possibilities. We will be using a dishtowel in our demonstration however you can use this for burp cloths, skirts, sleeves, pants, etc. You will also make a rolled hem and install rick rack with your serger.

Foot of the Month - Going Sewing Circle Bag

This month we are featuring the circular sewing attachment. You will use the attachment to make
beautiful embellishments for this circular sewing bag. Simply secure the attachment to your machine
and see how easy it is to make circles using decorative stitches and alphabet fonts built in to your machine. Give it a try! Sewing in circles is fun!
